On August 10, 2002 I began a journey from Niigata Japan all the way down to the island of Okinawa. It took me 4 days to travel overly approximately 2100 Km or 1300 miles one way.

I hitchhiked all the way down to the southern city of Kagoshima on the island of Kyushu stopping at city cities of Kobe (just west of Osaka) and Fukuoka on the way. It took 3 days to get to Kagoshima. From there I took a boat which took another 24 hours. Please click on the map to see details of the route.

On the way I met sweet River who recently became a believer and disciple of Jesus Christ! She lives in Kyushu.

Below is Johnny and his 4 children. Johnny is a musician and a DJ in Okinawa. 　 Johnny at work Johnny lovely wife, Joan is in the front the second from the left. The rest are more friends and brothers and sisters in Jesus who live in Okinawa.
